From a young age Maxine always wanted to be a hairdresser. From 1989 Maxine began her hairdressing career as a Saturday girl at the age of 15 at a local salon. When Maxine left school she joined as an assistant.
Maxine spent 2 years training at Joshua Galvin Academy, London to obtain her NVQ level 2. During this time she changed salon to Carey Temple McAdam in Mayfair. In 1999 Maxine decided to further her career and joined the prestigious Toni & Guy. After a 6 week intensive training course at the Toni & Guy academy Maxine started as a stylist and after only a year was promoted to style director and staff trainer. All whilst attending art team meetings every two weeks at the Toni & Guy academy for advanced training. Finally achieving the role as art director for 10 years at Uxbridge, Ealing and Liverpool street.
Maxine has been involved in film work and various fashion shows. Working along side Emmy award winning make up artists and international artistic directors for Toni & Guy.
In 2010 Maxine made the decision to become a freelance Hairdresser and things have gone from strength to strength. Specialising in cutting, Maxine has developed an extraordinary large client base, many of which are reluctant to let anyone else cut their hair.
Maxine truly loves her work and it shows, her passion and desire are fuelled by her endless energy to excel, always pushing the boundaries, her customer satisfaction can measured by the smile on her clients faces.
